Product Description Another great invention from SanDisk, the microSD is about a quarter of the size of an SD card and is the newest standard of SD flash memory specifically designed for use with ultra-small mobile phones and other devices. Like the miniSD, the microSD/TransFlash is ideal for use in storing media-rich files such as music, videos, and photographs in compatible mobile phones.
WORKS PERFECT WITH BLACKBERRY CURVE 8320!!!October 13, 2008 Diego Octavio De Lamo(Fort Lauderdale, FL USA) I read some comments of people having problems with the memory card and their Blackberries. I ordered it anyway and it works just fine with mine. It's a 8320, I am not sure about other models though.
!!!!Blackberry pearl "8130" owners!!!!October 13, 2008 Benjamin Duff(lynchburg, VA) To all BB pearl owners. I've read alot of reviews pertaining to this particular memory card (SDHC), and like many of you I decided to take my chances. I have a BB pearl 8130 and this card works fine with mine. I was worried at first because it didn't seem to recognize some of the files (mp3's) I had stored on it (the card). So after about 2 days of messing around with it. I figured out how to make it work.....listen closely....first..insert the "new no info on it" card and format it with the phone in the media card option screen...then load the card with whatever you want. !!!This is the important part!!!!....before you insert the (loaded) card into the phone....turn the phone OFF and REMOVE the battery. Reinsert the battery and turn the phone back on....insert the card and you should be able to access the data you stored on the card. Worked for me. !!NOTE!! each time you add data to the card, especially mp3 files, you must do this in order for the phone to read the new data. I hope this helps any of the disappointed purchasers out there and makes any weary future purchasers more comfortable. Like I said I have a BB Pearl 8130....I don't know if this pertains to all BB Pearls or not.
Does not work in a Blackberry Pearl!October 11, 2008 L. Huggins(California) Ordered this based on another Blackberry Pearl Owner's positive comments. Did not work in my Pearl. Spoke to a Blackberry rep who said the maximum media card capacity for the Pearl is a 2 GB. Don't make the same mistake I did by listening to the Pearl owners who said the 4 GB works because it doesn't! It did, however, work for my friend's Curve!
Works in Sidekick 2008October 3, 2008 CB(Centennial, CO USA) As long as the product (phone, camera, whatever) supports MicroSDHC this should work fine. Note the HC identifier if your item does not support HC it may not work. The price was right and works fine in my daughter's Sidekick 2008.
Excellent bang for your buck!October 3, 2008 Nathan Robinson(Provo, UT USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I got this card for my LG EnV2 so that I could put music on it as well as have more storage space for pictures, along with the option of printing pictures I take on my phone at a kiosk that accepts SanDisc cards (adapter needed), and it works perfectly! Don't be alarmed if the product comes to your home in nothing but a bubble wrap envelope. Bulk packaging simply means that it doesn't have plastic casing on it. In other words, it doesn't have the retail packaging that you would see hanging on a store shelf at Wal-Mart.
If your device doesn't read microSDHC cards, but you're looking for a microSD card (non-SDHC) that holds more storage capacity than 2 gigs, then you won't find it because such a card doesn't exist. Any microSD card with storage capacity higher than 2 gigs is automatically going to be an SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity) card. If you're looking at any product detail of, say a phone, and in the details it mentions that it can have an external storage capacity of 8 gigs with a "microSD" card, then that device can certainly read SDHC, though product details don't always mention that.
